Our students experience an enormous amount of growth - physically, emotionally, and educationally. Our staff are experts on children in this age range and we offer a wide range of social and emotional supports. SMMS has a particular focus on community service. Each year we go out into the community and other schools and give back. While we’re excite about what we can do for others, we’re also building a sense of ownership and belonging. Find Out More about 8th Grade Trip to Washington DC Summer School Registration Opens Friday, April 5th Summer School in South Milwaukee is a special time of exploration, learning, and fun. For elementary students it’s a great time for some to catch up on reading and math skills, and for others to explore new passions and enrich their learning experiences. Middle school students have an opportunity to explore their creativity and build on skills, and for high school students, it’s a chance for credit recovery or a way to take classes that free up time for electives during the school year.
